Annie Sloan Paints
Since I'm new to blogger and being a blogger, it's taking me some time to figure out the formating, editing and overall use of blogger... but I think I'm starting to figure it out. :-)
Using Annie Sloan Paints; I painted 3 of these bookcases. I enjoy re-purposing items - these used to be in my kid's playroom, which they've outgrown. The bookcases are a laminate wood made to look like maple.

New House New House
We've officially moved into our new house. We're still getting settled and I've been painting furniture as time permits. I found a gorgeous desk/hutch for my office on Craigslist and repainted it. My office is really coming together - it is a beautiful setting; situated right off a courtyard and even has it's own foyer (where I've added a mini-chandi). Truly it has a feminine energy as soon as you walk into it - I feel very blessed. This is the hutch Before:

New House
I've been getting excited about moving... and I'm now thinking about all of the new design & decorating that will need to take place. Immediately upon entering the new house, there are 20' foot ceilings. This room is currently being used as a dining room and living room combination but I would like to use the room as a dining room only. To do this, I will need to move the current chandlier to position it in the center of the room. Naturally, I want to replace it with a different chandelier... I did see one at an antique store and it was GORGEOUS! But I didn't get a picture... But it looked very similar to this one I found on Ebay. Absolutely stunning!
